Hot water bottle Cozy for my Colleage

I was asked if I could make hot water bottle cozy from my colleage. Of course I said YES!
I used simple pattern but I love it. I made a double cables in a middle. She asked for baby blue so I chose Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage Blue Gingham.

However, yarn ran out. So I added ivory color on tip. Then it grew!!! AGH!

I put it in a dryer... Hopefully it settles...

Autumn Cardigan for my niece

I have stash yarn from Lionbrand sitting in my chest for quite a while. It's spring leaf (green) color. I decided to make something for my niece. Something easy to wear, warm, not too heavy.

So here it is. Autumn Cardigan!!!
I love this lace details, raglan puffy sleeves, everything! It was an easy project.

Hope my niece like it as much as I do!

Atelier in Tokyo - my mom's!

I managed to finish my mom's Atelier cardigan just before Fall season kicks in. I used Madelinetosh Pashmina Smokestack which I love!!

For sleeves, instead of three quarter, I also made long sleeves. My mods are:
Dec rows 6times, 11 rows in between. made length to 40cm then cuffs. Just before make cuffs, dec sts as follow: K7, K2tog, K7, K2tg....

This way, sleeves are nice and narrow. My sister's version is little bit flare at cuffs. It's for mom, I don't think she likes flare cuffs for her age.

I purchased Madelinetosh Pashmina from eat.sleep.knit. They were fantastic!!!

Another Grove hot water bottle cover done

Winter is slowly going. I feel it. But I am making another hot water bottle cover because 1. I am waiting for yarn to arrive to do another cardigan, 2. no time to do another big project as I'm leaving on 8th for work for 8days.

So here it is. Another water bottle has been dressed. I love this pattern. It's so chic. Thanks to Jared!

Mandel sweater! Love it!

I managed to finish my Mandel sweater in just over a week. I thought this would be a little bit hard project because I have never knitted with saddle shoulder. When I finishsed saddle, I thought I made it too small...

But I kept knitting. Result was amaging! I believed in my gauge, my gauge never betrayed me:)

Thanks to fallmasche! I would love to knit something light in colour, with nice drape next time!

Idlewood Tunic

I had my Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool sitting in my stash. I was going to knit something for my father, but then I changed my mind.

I decided to knit Idlewood but tunic version. I made length longer so I can wear without bulky pants.

It turned out ok, but there were too many stockinette stitches... round and round and round....

July is finishing! One more month of winter... Mojo feels chilly at night so she sleeps on my lap...

Honeycomb Tunic for my niece

I had a left over yarn from my Atelier Cardi. So I decided to knit tunic for my niece (She will be 2 yo this October). I had a pattern of
Langstroth by Elizabeth Green Musselman. I knitted this pattern before, so I decided to arrange for girl's version.

This photo is before blocking. I used Jo Sharp Silkroad DK Tweed. It's firm when you knit, but it's soft after blocking. Photos below are after blocking.

I made sleeves shorter and slits upwards. Also I made body length longer so her butts will hide inside tunic. Hope she likes!
