I went back to my niece last week with a gift pack. A bag full of goodies. I made knitted sushi, apple, coffee cup and amgurumi!
Hope she plays with them!

Another French sleeve vest!

During my visit in Japan, my mom asked me to knit her very same vest I knitted. So we went toYuzawaya (one of the biggest craft shop!), got yarns from there!

This french sleeve vest took me a week to finish. Result was really really good!!!

French sleeve vest there is!

I had a Japanese knitting pattern book with me, this was the one catched my eyes. One thing really gets me is Japanese pattern only comes in 1 size. (Ladys' knitting) Men's have 3 size but that's not big enough, but ladys'... Come on! Are they all same size?? I don't think so!

Anyway, I have to make this vest a little longer as I am a tall girl. It turned out ok. I want to modified a bit to make into my own design. In a future...

Puppet paradise

Tell me who doesn't like puppet if you were kids or toddlers?? I made these puppets last year for my niece. They have big mouth, funny eyes! Well, hope she still has them!

I also made Japanese rice triangle (Onigiri) with left over yarn. It was nice and soft, too!

Another gift for my niece

I decided to go back home this month, so I made another cardi for my niece as a part of my gift stash. I have left over yarn! It's wool, it's natural, it should be great for winter. A problem is north hemesphere is a summer at the moment. It's ok, my niece is only 18month, by the time winter comes, this cardi should fit nicely!

I used Lion Brand Eloise eyelet Cardigan pattern, but no eyelet, no decrese on sleeves. It was easy quick knit! I am going to teach my girlfriend how to knit, this would be an ideal project. Wish me luck!
